Meh, I hear you but if someone wants to pass on gains because of a CEO’s personal opionion on political matters or whatever matter it may be, then so be it. Its not easy being in the limelight of a public company and feeling like you need to live in a cage. Elon Musk has embodied that quite well. I personally applaud it for it reveals strength of character, as Chester Cheeser says, ‘Its not easy being cheesy.’
