I only need $500 to retire with 700 shares. I don't need much.
I remember when I bought my first 100 shares for $7. It seemed like a substantial and risky investment. Because I didn't have any money. Then at some point was able to double or triple that to 300 shares after the stock dropped.
When HERB rallied to $0.35 during the last 30 minutes of trade on no news, I was right on it. Sold a portion and beefed up my ITUP position to 2,100 shares. Later I moved some money back to HERB so the result is I have 700 shares now.
I think most people forget that you already reported EPS $20. So those 700 shares should be worth AT LEAST $14,000 at $20 a piece. A substantial investment. And I'm happy to be on board for the ride.
