An increase in equality among people; and furthermore an increase in the *goal* of equality and freedom for all people probably is petty and has nothing to do with the development of harmony and cooperation in the future.

Now let's get to your point. Has there been an increase in equality among people? As I see it the same inequalities still persist. And no, I'm not talking about the bogus "for every $1 a man earns a woman earns 79 cents" nonsense.

Here's a question I'd like to ask. Are there more, fewer, or about the same number of poor people in this country as a percentage of the population since, say, 1980? It's a simple question, designed only to discover if in fact "an increase in equality among people" has occurred.

Saying that Socialism is merely an economic system is almost as ridiculous as saying Communism is merely one as well. The primary focus may be economic, but the goals are achieved via political means.

Please try to start making better sense. If you post that communism is more enlightened or more fair than capitalism, then people are likely to assume that you support communism. Please don't be surprised when this happens.
