dloggold, that is quite a negative sentiment!
The way for this company to succeed is to clearly state :
- What they HAVE
- What they COULD have
- What timing
- What cost
Then you get a refresh in investment. As long as HGEN will suffer the hype-syndrome, real money will remain gone because a hype=uncertainty.
CDMO has split in a pure CDMO and research in a privately held company. Everybody could see that the CDMO leg could work but would never yield what an approved drug can. Yet, CDMO since yesterday increased its institutional investors to 106+% (the 106% is possible that is because a number of short sold shares are on the shelf with IIs). Why...because they see something they understand aimed at a growing market with a clear growth (capacity) plan and large backlog and interested customers.
For HGEN there is a need for more clarity. The last presentation wasn't bad BUT that is not what the market wants. If a company supports a HYPE like HGEN did with Lenz for Corona applications and it fails then management suffers creditability. And before you know it, nobody doesn't believe them anymore UNLESS a good clear plan is proposed that everybody can understand and follow in stead of a potential good news show.
