I'm not 100% sure this is directly on point, but I did find this in the California Rules of Court:

"If the plaintiff or other party required to serve and file a request for dismissal within 45 days after the dismissal date specified in the notice does not do so, the court must dismiss the entire case ....."

I read that to mean Roger has 45 days, not a week, to file a "request for dismissal". If he doesn't the Court will do it for him.

45 days from January 24th puts us around March 10th if I counted my days right. So, yeah, we'll have to wait a little longer, but as the old saying goes: "Good things come to those who wait".

I'm not "flipping" this stock. I have been and will continue to be a "long". So 45 more days is nothing to me. Of course, that may not be true for everyone and that's OK. Me, well, I'm putting this on the shelf for the next 6 weeks, as I don't see anything significant happening before then, other than, of course, speculation and conjecture....
