Agree on the 8K, but nothing wrong with saying you have an update coming. Companies do it all the time.

I think they are simply moving into the existing ticker. Meaning this wont be a traditional "merger" or acquisition of the ticker. The company is EXLA resources and will remain EXLA resources.
8k wont be necessary to announce things like the company acquiring a mine or announcing their projects or if they are simply partnering with another company.
