Theoretically, that's for ANYONE IN &/or The COMMUNITY (when DAO is established) to decide.
In other words: The "project", "experiment", whatever you wish to CALL Shiba Inu, is NOT DEAD because a DEV left. Just like when the Founder Ryoshi stepped down, ....someone ELSE stepped in! In fact, MANY DID!
Ryoshi presumably began this EXPERIMENT by himself. With time others pitched in. The EXPERIMENT IN COMMUNITY does NOT DIE with any (or ALL the current DEVS for that matter): It is DECENTRALIZED!!
Remember - That's the point!
The project becomes whatever those involved decide & whatever the DAO voting directs or instructs. Yes, atm there appears to be BOTH PLANS & GOALS! And fortunately it does appear that the DEVS have been EXECUTING on same.
But NO ONE knows what tomorrow will bring, the direction thereafter, & apparently we lack answers to some FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS which SADLY isn't supported with INTELLIGENT, thoughtful discussion which one might expect to find on a message board & token holding so much promise. And my broader point is if people are going to GO OFF HALF-COCKED MAKING UNSUBSTANTIATED CLAIMS the community should hold them TO ACCOUNT. And that goes for the DEVS too!
Guess we'll see where it all goes...
