Alright, I see where YOU are coming from then. But, being the skeptic I can see different MO's here as well.
1. If you think you are or want to "stick" it to the WS, I think it is safe to say that you surely would not want to give them your money to advertise for you since you would be employing the enemy.
2. Considering this advertisement and the flyers that also went out to 25,000 people in the area lately, do you not find it odd that this company with such grandiose international plans is really only focused on the local area (which by most accounts is extremely distressed at present).
3. It would appear that this 25+ years company is in-fact as it has always been, a local building supplier of modest proportions and is trying to continue down the same path it has for the last 25+ years.
4. Does this look like the type of advertisements of a fortune 500 company to you?? How bout even a fortune 50,000 one?
I have never said it is not a viable business mind you, just that it appears to be what it has always been... A small lumberyard/supply company for a niche' area. To me it would seem nothing more and nothing less. I certainly dont see justification for the current market cap or the par share value for that matter.
Could this be just a ploy to feed to the optimistic investor to entice some to buy?? I will let you decide for yourself on that.
Some are impressed by little, some impressed by nothing. I am neither though.
Thanks for responding though, I see your rationale and wanted to share mine.
GLTY regardless...

that's why i put bashers in quotes.
but this is somewhat of a big deal (not that big though) because of its symbolism. It would be a bigger deal if they produced the friggin audit and some ME contracts (obviously), but this is nice because the company would not spend $1700/week to place this ad for six months if 1) it were not a going concern and viable business, 2) if it could not afford it, 3) if business was not on-going as usual, 4) if they didn't want to stick it to the WS, 5) if they didn't want to clean up their name locally, and 6) if they weren't confident that they were going to come out of this whole mess just fine.
Now, it's not signed verified contracts and an audit, but it's a pretty strong gesture to make. and because of #4 on my list, it's funny.
