What did people expect her to say in front of a Senate panel to confirm her nomination? I could not think of a much safer response -- which I think is a bit interesting.

Given that HERA puts the ball in her court - in terms of the suck up scale - don't you think this is a little over the top?

What I found more interesting than Sandra Thompson's answers were the questions from the senators, which made it pretty clear that the course of recap/release is being pursued - and apparently by Republicans as well as Democrats.
