I think more realistically we should be focusing on the litigation until post midterms as I think odds of admin action picks up then once Biden loses Congress and BBB is officially dead for good.
I agree. My belief in the ultimate outcome by the end of 2024 is based both on where we are now in the timeline of the litigation (major cases rapping up - rulings as well as settlements before the end of 2024) - as well as the administration's desire to direct where the money goes that the Government gains for the recap before there a chance for regime change. Based on your posts I think we agree on where this is generally headed.
I strongly disagree with GBs latest prediction of the use of the nuclear option and the commons go down the drain. As I have been posting, any settlement will be the result of some give on the Government's part and I don't see a recap going forward with the Seniors/LP in place or at least greatly reduced. The Government will not be focusing so much as maximizing what they can get so much as optimizing what they can get given the whole picture.
And we will hopefully know more about the administration's thinking after the confirmation hearing.
