I know when I need some perspective on patriotism, I always look to what the nearest pants-shitting draft dodger has to say.

If fucking cnt like Ted Nugent came out of his mouth like that at Jim Wright, he'd likely find half of his fucking arsenal crammed up his ass while he was still spitting his teeth out.

Ted Nugent isn't fit to wash Jim Wright's balls.

Nugent? Seriously? I worked with the asshole for weeks. I stayed at his Jackson, Mi compound. I didn't realize how much it really was a compound until I stayed there. I knew almost nothing about Ted until then. I liked his music and thought it was cool and started with a positive open attitude which he crushed with his bigoted racial rants and mistreatment of women, amongst other self centered trash. The few people of color at the compound with us he never spoke to. One was my co-worker.

I ate with his trophy wife, who disappointingly was dumber than him and his kids of the month. He gave up two children for adoption. He bragged about defeating his draft by acting homeless and defecating on himself for days.
That's not urban legend. That story came from him off the record. He was already bent right but I wasn't into all that at the time and didn't realize what he was about.

I left there not wanting to know anymore than I had to about him. I have just a kernel of respect for his music now, most is in complete disassociation with the man himself. Incredulously, he's gotten worse and more disoriented today.

dropdeadfred, Stupid, irresponsible Nugent lies. There is no other way to describe those comments. Nugent's reaction, your reaction jigsaws straight into Jim Wright's

Insurrection, One Year On
[...]
"Those who attacked the Capitol a year ago today. They are in almost every regard, the antithesis of Barack Obama, mean, crude, uneducated, ill spoken, filled with rage and blind ignorant loud blustering false patriotism."
[...]
America has always had more than its share of malcontents, of lunatics and violent nutters, the proudly ignorant and outright stupid, the sociopaths and the religious extremists, and while they nipped around the edges of our society, they were rightly relegated to the shadows.
P - Ronald Reagan and Lee Atwater and their version of The Southern Strategy brought the howling fringe into the Republican Party. But it was a war started on lies and the election of a black man to the highest office in the nation that normalized the most unhinged and brought them front and center.
P - There was always going to be consequences.
P - You can't spend decades building a political ideology based on hate and rage and not expect that there will be violence.
P - And it's always -- always -- downhill.

Trump’s Next Coup Has Already Begun
[...]
For more than a year now, with tacit and explicit support from their party’s national leaders, state Republican operatives have been building an apparatus of election theft. Elected officials in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and other states have studied Donald Trump’s crusade to overturn the 2020 election. They have noted the points of failure and have taken concrete steps to avoid failure next time. Some of them have rewritten statutes to seize partisan control of decisions about which ballots to count and which to discard, which results to certify and which to reject. They are driving out or stripping power from election officials who refused to go along with the plot last November, aiming to replace them with exponents of the Big Lie. They are fine-tuning a legal argument that purports to allow state legislators to override the choice of the voters.
