The latest news was that first two Xbox games were released
using FONIX voice reocgnition technology available in Xbox.

At this stage, the technology is actually a Fonix Software Development Kit for Xbox, that game developers use to add voice interface to their games.

I couldn't find what kind of a deal Fonix has with Microsoft (if at all - partner), and/or if it has any royalties from Xgame software developers, which I guess it might.

The fact is that there are two new Xbox games with this technology since last week on the market. I do not know what the actual market for those games is, so it is hard to predict any royalty revenues, but I could find that they are not on the top list of popularity (below tenth place).

But, there are some data for Xbox and its market share and based on that there is some more info that can be speculated upon. About 25% of market share accounting for ~10mil Xbox installed base worldwide (since 12/2001), half of that in USA, predicting a 50% grotwh in next year (?). I also read recently that MSFT is taking its Xbox business seriously.

Anyway, FONIX seems to be another story stock, WAVX alike, yet, not as promissing as Wavx, if the story materializes.
Interestingly so, there are FONIX loyalists, but not of the same caliber as those that Wavx has.

There are, as it always happens, speculations about possible takover by MSFT etc.

The stock itself showed some life last week after the news anouncment of these two games, and it went from .15 to .90.
I think it is worth watching and next week may present enough early entry that can gain some hopefully hefty profit.

Of course I am comparing the stock balistics with those of Wave, and they are showing much resemblance. The volume on Friday was staggering 18Mil shares.

Any thoughts?
