I think it was the DC Circuit that there was discussion about intent and I don't remember anybody getting excited about it. After all this time and listening to often astounding court Audio I probably will suffer cardiac arrest if anything less than archane decides our future. My impression many years later speaking and from memory is that if something bad happened to the conservatee and it could be a simple mistake ( like taking all their money for their own good while "restoring" them to safe and sound...) then no harm no foul.
