Unless you go out of your way, it's next to impossible to trade IBM afterhours. And normally there is no bids. I know on Ameritrade, they won't even allow you to put in an order that includes AH for NYSE stocks. You might be able to get around that by doing an order direct to Island, but Island usually doesn't have bids. Or at least real ones that aren't way off the price.

they put the money from the IBM sales into AMAT buys. Look what happened to AMAT around 6:30. very strange, as there was no corresponding movement on nvls or klac
