There is a ton of media and social attention around omicron and tests. Amazon is apparently limiting how many tests you can buy, implying an awful lot of demand. I have a feeling that tendency to not get tested for trivial symptoms is less pronounced than it normally would be under the circumstances. Millions seems a bit too hopeful to me unless there are a lot of people with symptoms too mild to even notice.
