Sorry, fuck munchkin, he doesn't run the government but has let his ego think so. The government doesn't have to kowtow to munckin. What this administration needs to do is end munchkins single vote bullshit. They need to ignore what he wants and come up with some legit way to pass it without him or cinima. And munchkin is on record not voting for any bills that would cost his coal and big donors money.
How could one trust a guy in government that makes twice as much as his overpaid senator salary from a major coal business he owns and gets donations to his pac for. munchikin also voted down any tax raise for the rich every time.
He didn't just try to scale the bill down, he stripped or neutered everything that impacted big coal or energy when it came to pay for climate control or clean air. I can't find it now, but sometime back munchkin has fought lawsuits against his company for not maintaining air quality controls and fines against the coal industry in his state.
