Plus you then have to ability to exercise the option and keep the shares if your ITM
On your strike.

Yes Citadel is getting the opportunity to continue kicking the can down the road through options. They are making a killing in options, pulling the rug out from investors just as we approach the strike price each week. Funny how we didn’t close above 30 this week right, just an example. If investors stayed away from the options and just bought shares we would have a better chase of forcing the squeeze. I am not saying it would happen right away but think of all the shares that could have been purchased with the money lost in short term option plays. People will say I made money in options, but far more has been lost then gained in options for the retail investor. They are gaming retail.
