My first experience of evangelicals was in the army back in the early eighties. (My prior experience of "Christians" was groups of Catholics abusing my siblings and me as kids.) But I digress... There was one simple young guy in basic who was literally in tears over the idea that I was an unbeliever.

But the cake was taken, if I may, by one guy in my unit in Germany, who told me there wouldn't be any famine in Ethiopia if those people had more faith in God.

It's funny... Someone here just called me a sociopath.
