Smallpox and polio vaccines were highly efficacious, and conferred life long immunity once primary immunization was given. Efficacy of the mRNA vaccines is below 50 % after six months. And no one knows how long the booster doses will work.

So what? Every disease is different and it is truly absurd to lump all diseases and vaccines together. You need tetanus boosters as well as whooping cough vaccine boosters. Covid variants have reduced efficacy. A good analogy is yearly flu vaccines due to antigenic shift.

Do I have to keep posting the data showing how poorly Republican and Trump counties are doing with respect to hospitalizations and deaths? Do you think it is just a coincidence that these areas are lower in vaccination rates or is it real world proof of vaccine efficacy.
