The CDC reversed the relaxed mask recommendation on July 27, 2021 when breakthrough infections were discovered.

Thank you. The CDC is making decisions on the best available data and when the data says the situation has changed, they modify their recommendations. Truly amazing that anyone who feels they are at least partially knowledgable about science cannot or will not understand that.
