Imo neither side does any "heavy lifting" or we wouldn't have the divide we do..

Well, some legislation is working its way through the system and some has passed in spite of mitch and the zombies, and last I remember, the right had literally no platform in the last election, which is not even close to "light" lifting.

There are a couple folks here embraced in a mutual admiration society who only point out problems, and do not offer any specific solutions to anything other than generalized cumbaya. They appear to have the same platform as the republican party, just empty rhetoric, no action, and no offered specific solutions.

Not recognizing the difference between servicing the billionaires and trying to help the middle class is a pretty big gap in credibility. They prefer to gnaw at any flaws instead of adding fertilizer to specific improvements.

Those who don't stand for something tend to fall for anything.

"Bring the two sides together" is empty rhetoric and then claiming some sort of vague victimhood is straight out of "one side's" playbook, and it certainly isn't my side.

The Space Cadet party just acts like an offshoot of the tr**** party, dedicated to the idea that everyone else is wrong except themselves, despite the evidence offered to the contrary. The two sides are just plain are not the same, and oil and water will probably never mix without better soap than they offer.

The abolition of parties is a true laugher. Our system, as rough of a patch it is going through, is designed around checks and balances, and dropping back to no/one party sounds an awful lot like what Russia and China have, leader/dictators, which, if one paid and pays attention, is what the shitgibbon was attempting and is still attempting to accomplish.

It's been almost a year, numerous republiqans have made death threats publicly, frump is still free and a hundred lawyers are padding their coffers with all sorts of what looks like to the layman, soft glove handling of everything and possibly easy delay money. We've got less than ten people sentenced in the j-6, every single repulsive republiqan still in their elected seats spewing shit every day that would get you and I fired in a second in the real world still getting our tax dollars for their 150+ grand salaries.

How the fuck are we supposed to feel? Can you honestly say a years time isn't enough to fire a handful of senators working to kill democracy? A years time isn't enough time to put away a bunch of looney maga's at least for a year in prison, instead of probation. Yes, I know three have jail time so far, but those were the most visible assholes and the lawyers knew they had no choice but to do some token shit to the 'leaders' to show they're on the job. And then they fight republiqan paid judges on top of it. Which may be one of the side reasons though.

No one, including the dems who are unquestionably tasked to do something look to be in any hurry to actually do some substantial punishment to the other party.

And nothing I wrote reflects on the unbelievable job Pres Biden and his administration are doing with getting the frump criminal enterprise dumped on him as well as covid. With an opposing party with public oaths to destroy whatever Biden is trying to do. Biden is juggling two different worlds, trying to do right and correct things for citizens, while fighting a bunch of feckless, empty trolls who call themselves republiqans.
