DesertDrifter: Of course it does put a hurt on some areas. Like where I am living. There are a hell of lot vet's in this part of central Texas. 100% DAV vet No property tax's at all. Below 100% get a % of tax's off. Even a 10& that can get into big money with the number of vet's in this area!!! They are working on it down in Austin as we speak.
