This country needs to get back to cogent and respectful political discourse that respects the other point of view. It is clear that this board is a mere microcosym of what ails this country. Vitriol, bigoted, intolerant, name calling-- and that is on the Left AND the RIGHT.
Meanwhile, the media's business plan is to throw gasoline on the proverbial fire to hook viewers to stay for the next "news" segment.
