In many cases though, the lobbying and the money are the same thing.

Unfortunately, it was the hard work of the last 10 years by mitch and his henchmen to finally make it legal for pac sponsors to give unlimited amounts of donor cash.

So it's much easier for republiqans and many dems to acquire 10's of millions from a few billionaires and corps instead of looking for and collecting 2 or 3 grand from a 100 sources. It was quite tougher to amass millions when the donations were limited per donor.

Biden needs to totally rescind the mitch bills AND not allow an elected official to gain a lobbyist job for at least 5 years or more. Part of a corp owning a senator is also promising him/her a high paying job as a consultant or lobbyist. That needs to stop.

Thats what you said before and I agree with you on the money in politics thing,,,,,

But honestly I'm having trouble grasping why paid lobbying is a good thing and protected.....but we never got to finish that conversation or I didn't pay close enough attention to what you said.....

I see it as who ever has the most money for lobbyist get heard.....Most people can't afford one ;) :(
