The kid should not go free and highly likely he won't, he killed two people period. It's up to the courts what level the crime is. This board and people can speculate all they want, we weren't there as witnesses.
And we certainly don't know the full story by any means. His parent should never have put him in the situation either. But if the kid was so intent on going, he'd have found a way, with or without his Mom. But she is an accessory of the crimes.
Whatever his mind set was, the intent to use his weapon doesn't appear there. He may have believed he was there as a protector, not as a killer. No one knows the fear and adrenalin of what it's like to be in the middle of total mob chaos unless they were there before. And each time, one gets sensitized and more use to it, be it any thing a person feels as fearful. But I'm not defending him, just pointing out other scenarios.
Your problem is you're a lit fuse and don't take a second to reread or think about what a person writes on a chat board but goes 100% full frontal attack on someone in a nanosecond making like 5 wrong conclusions in a post. Then you come back later and walk back much of the attack from before because you realize you were over the top. The credit I give you is you bother to accept some times and face your transgressions many of the times. You are also not a troll.
You made it a point on many of the threads you have issues, fighting demons and probably depression. Believe or not, I have some understanding of issues like this. Your belligerence may not be you, but what you are dealing with in your everyday life. You lash out instantaneously defensive at people who actually didn't mean malice, and turn it on the person instead of what the content they wrote. I would submit that you are also bi-polar and you either know this already or should seek professional help.
Intellectually I'd put you in the upper 20% just from your writings. Probably higher than me.
I only ignore you because of my issues in dealing with quick tempered people as I am burned out from working the phones and help centers for years and I have pretty much lost my willingness and compassion to interface with high strung and excitable types, we are trained to think outside our skin and LISTEN. But when one is no longer listening to a troubled person before advising, then one is losing the objective reason for being there. It's coming back but I don't think I'd put myself in those agencies again. But I believe you deserve some explanation. I'm sure this isn't any skin off your nose, so just keep me on ignore.
