The issue you raised is the selection of a winner in the Director contest - important to you and me perhaps - but, as per the link, the bigger picture issue is on deck next.
I do think that things are trending our way as they will work the GSEs as a way to fund at least a portion of the housing programs. And the results of the VA delegate races (went from dem to reb. majority) will provide a sense of urgency. The biggest problem with release soon would be all the lawsuits that have to be resolved before additional fund raising can start - and this will take time either to settle or let them play out.
