With regard to not just servers for NetList's IP... this also translates into devices to boost device performance. Flash memory and DIMM for instance. So to say that losing NetList's IP for Samsung products going forward is not to a competitors advantage where they use NetList IP, it is great for the competition IMO. Inferior components make inferior products.
Google best have another plane to fly... or they simply have to do what they should have done all along.....PAY for use of NetList technology they seem to NEED. If another option is available.... seek it out and lose market share, which they do not want to do.
Doesn't seem like there are too many options out there for Google. Not without compromising performance and incurring infringement issues. Hhhmmmmmmm
