The transition to legal production will take time as politicians figure out how to personally profit from the move. I can only imagine that currently the illegal producers line their pockets with cash. It might be a tad more difficult to peddle their influence going forward... but rest assured they will find a way.

We should add here that while what you posted is not all that encouraging for the mj market in general, LVVV is trying to carve out a niche as a very top-line, high quality product, far superior to the common street-level stuff available in Calif. So, in that regard, the prospects may not be nearly as dire for LVVV as the article suggests.

In addition, LVVV already has contracts in place for the purchase of their harvests with a large West Coast Distributor.
