I really agree with you on that. I don't see any other connection either. If tRump wasn't rabble rousing his 'murica way before the covid for his own personal lawsuit protection of the presidency, none of this would be happening. No voter investigations, no appreciable vaccine push back, no destroyed immigration policies and climate programs, no blaming a new administration that had nothing to do with the mess they have to clean up today.
Can't forget all his pardons of criminals directly associated with his own adminstration and his opening all lands to oil and gas drilling in his last week. tRump actually looks like he did so much in the last weeks out of pure spite.
I would confidentially submit that the slimy slug of humanity called tRump is solely 90% responsible for the sewers we are in this moment.
All to protect his narcissistic spineless useless self. He doesn't even care about his own family. He will disown them in a heartbeat when they hit the courts to defend themselves.
