With just Washington alone, our country would look different,,Same with Jefferson and all the founders we know of (and don't) ,,,together they did well...
All the better Hedges came from the elite, he is the type you want them to produce...A John Kennedy or......but not a Trump or the generational decline we see being produced all too much who are never exposed to anything outside of Versailles...
The guy could have had a cushy life and he wandered around war zones for 20 yrs....And that Pulitzer Prize...
But I don't agree with all he says, maybe, I Just don't want to...
I never thought Covid would produce higher wages...I worried Trump would steal the election..We got a break
But I'm not sure I see the greatness in Washington that the times call for....I don't think most dems get it, as in they dont know what the problem is, that makes it hard to work it.
Repubs are fooling themselves, they don't understand the glass ceiling above their own heads.
People want Bipartisanship, 'They want grid lock ended!! They want people to quit fighting, blaming,,,,,,,,,
Nancy needs to blink and get the infrastructure bill done, that's the start...
Then do what ever they can to write and pass more bills in a bipartisan fashion......Make concessions, just make what you pass good!
But here is where the conversation ends,,,I can hear it now (not you ;),Its Manchins fault, its Mitch McConnell, Its the crazy house repubs..I heard Hedges say something bad about dems, Yada Yada Yada Yada Yada Yada Yada, to Infinity
No one has all the answers, most for now, don't have a clue..But dems window of opportunity is closing......And there will be plenty of complaining and finger pointing if they fail, then there is that whole democracy thing in the balance ....
They may need to enjoy the arguing while they can, Lol
I know this sounds like Dem hammering, its really not..Everyone on this board knows what the repubs are about..
