I agree, but I think the more insidious reason is to sow doubt on all elections so that the republiqans can control the counts in their own ways.
The republiqans have been passing laws all over the country giving them the rights to question any election based on the lies they started with tRumps presidency and even before. All the repuke crooks saw this years ago. tRump the crook is just helping them in their coups. Stopping voters is just the icing on their cake.
