Think they’ve tried to pass right to die bills several times but it is my observation that GOP policies support all who are not obscenely wealthy being forced into this world from conception into their last poverty stricken painful breath. I have just finished 6 weeks of radiation/chemo to find out it has spread to the bones in my back/hips/tailbone. Now on fentanyl with hydrocodone chasers every 6 hours with what is at times unbearable pain. I really do not wish to be kept alive the day I am no longer cognitive. Been telling people for decades I wanted to drop dead and not be a burden to family and friends!
Most adults have the power to end their life at anytime if they have the will and desire. I’m assuming you are asking about assisted suicide. I’m all for it with some safeguards against healthy people who can be effectively treated for any underlying symptoms. Certainly if they have debilitating diseases and in pain.
