It doesn't affect Fair one iota if he does a reverse split. He may not own any of the stock right now as the transaction has not yet closed. He paid XXXX dollars to Canouse for the shell. Essentially he gets the stock for free.
When the transaction closes, his friends and associates,as well as employees ask him or lokk up how much the stock price is . He has to explain that it's not one cent but less than 1/5 of one cent. His friends roll their eyes as that's not a real stock investment for them.
It's all in the perception of what a stock value is. To borrow a saying heard from another CEO: "Ask for pennies, get pennies. Ask for dollars, get dollars!"
