Give it up koog. People are looking for work. But big corps don't want to hire people back because they're making money with less employees and many companies seem to be dropping their wages in the last six months across the work force.
Only work in my little town and area are service jobs at barely minimum wage and with the republiqans shooting down any Biden initiatives or gov rulings to force a raise in MW, the bigger firms/plants of 30 or more workers in my county don't have any hiring signs or ads out. Why? Because they cut back and are still making money now with less employees. Some fat was cut, but none in the executive level that's for sure.
A relative at a executive level of goog cloud that started in Oct 2018 was put on full time home office mid 2020 and they told him stay home until further notice this august. The good thing is he has a 3 year old daughter he gets to hang with almost full time. The bad thing is, his was an office of 7 people and 3 got laid off March 2021 and him and the remaining of the group picked up the jobs and responsibility. This is common in many many companies since mid 2020.
And you want level III accountants to work at McDonalds right?
All one has to do is read the articles about companies and executives who continue to make millions from the start of the pandemic.
Crisis's like a pandemic are just like wars. People still get rich and richer while the peasants (US!) are dying.
