were you able to fund your wallet with ETH yet? maybe once that happens you'll see your "assets" list, and if you toggle on that, the "add token" button will be visible.
i went about it backwards. funded the wallet with ETH, went to fegex, bought FEG token, couldn't SEE IT AT ALL in my wallet.
THEN i finally realized i needed to "add custom token" before it would show up.
maybe you could do the same approach. fund with ETH, make the purchase of FEG token on fegex, then worry later about how you can make it visible in metamask.
the fact that you see the ETH mainnet is a good sign.
