Well, I'm glad you will at least admit that he wants to reduce the population. At least we've gotten that out of the way.
"Out of the way"? I've been an advocate of reducing the population for a very long time. Do you think we should eat our way to extinction? We have nowhere else to go, you know.
I would assume it's part of the "better healthcare" thing. In the past in developed countries, and right now in the third world, people had a lot of children because they feared--correctly, most of the time--that some of them would die of disease. Prevent that, and they won't feel they need to have as many. Not having as many would be better for women's health as well, and would encourage economic growth.
That is pretty basic stuff. But why don't you go ahead and listen to the entire hour and a half, and get back to me?
