Yeah. LBWR burned me badly as well.
You know I actually took a trip to the company right before the recession hit.
Met Dexter Morris and his whole staff. They did a presentation and everything. I left feeling very good.
Of course, I had no way to know the mortgage crisis was about to happen. Hiring stopped and Labwire suddenly began losing a lot of money. Few years later the company filed BK.
The whole debacle was the main reason I stopped trading. Left the Hub for about ten years.
I think I dumped a bunch of shares for a tax-loss sale a few years ago. So when ACCR and TRAE came back to life I put in an order for LBWR while it was still grey.
They actually gave me 500k at .0001 - if you can believe that.
I sold most of those shares the day it went Grey to Pink. I think I averaged about .02 per share but know I dumped quite a few at .0088
Wish I had those back!
Anyways, makes me feel a little better about that ticker.
Labwire was my big experiment to see if I could beat the odds and find a great investment in a sea of scams and losers.
Didn't work out.
Labwire was not a scam.
But it wasn't a good investment either.
