I agree 100 %, America was never meant to be a country that took care of its citizens. On the contrary America expected its citizens to find there dream of capitalism, expound upon it, and hopefully find a lifestyle that took care of them.
What America's founding father's wanted, was a government that took care of the issues that became to big for the ordinary citizen. To also provide certain services that assisted it's populace in creating a life to benefit everyone.
Democrat's keep trying to do that, at least from what I see, education, healthcare, child care, infrastructure, these are things that our American government should do.
Republican's have now found themselves at a crossroads, they could help, but instead they want to demonstrate that they want no part of assisting anyone in America. They are in it for themselves, whatever they can do to benefit themselves is their only goal. We saw that in the last President, Trump did nothing to help, he did things to help himself. That is not what a President or a political party is suppose to do. Sure they can benefit, but they are not suppose to enrich themselves at every turn.
Even worse the Republican's appear to be going out of their way to actually hurt people. Take the vaccine, does it help against the virus, of course, but every day they come out to hinder its use.
Republican's are the problem, trump was just another name for the sickness that has engulfed them. They want to recapture an America that never was, and that is why there is so much resistance to them, America is not there for just them but each and everyone of us who for one reason or another have come to this country to find there own freedom.
