Without going into much this morning, and to demonstrate that America has a way of coming together, I concur with your statement about American's dying from covid-19. We can disagree on almost anything, but a simple vaccine to address this pandemic should not be one of them. This is America, supposedly the greatest healthcare in the world, yet 30 % of America disregards it, so they crowd hospitals and possibly die.
Meanwhile life isn't that pleasant this morning, sometimes even minor operations have a way of just aching days later. It is almost nice to take a shit again, but the stomach area is still quite tender to the touch.
The roof is proceeding, day two, they should finish today, yesterday my roof, thanks to the tornadoes had a little more damage than previously thought. I am just pleased that it hung on through the second one. It is 25 years old, so it has lasted long enough. There are always little things with any big project, fortunately I have learned from warehouse days, that curveballs are just part of the equation.
I read some of your comments on what you favored about the last administration, but what I want to ask is Trump was ill equipped to deal with anything large, like government. Trump was a small time real estate player, and not very good at that either, his casino's his failures in New York City, notably that West Side Development project.
This is America, no easy answer fixes anything, you talk about an immigration problem, but most people come to America and just simply overstay their visa. I look to the Canadian/American border, have not heard much throughout my entire life. What I do hear about is Texas, but it is Texas, they have a problem with everything, and it is run by Republican's, if they really knew what they were doing on issues, they could of solved them in that state. Instead Texas leads the nation is daily disasters.
Energy independence was achieved long before Trump, it is why he wanted to export energy when he came into office. As for lying about Afghanistan, really, you care about Afghanistan, but ignore all of those daily American deaths from covid-19 so much for priorities.
You forget about infrastructure, the debt issue, education, child care, climate change, America's standing in the world, trust with our allies, working with the world to solve the great issues of the day. The list is endless. But please let us care about Afghanistan, a country that just needs our attention for another 20 years. We should of never been there in the first place, I am glad Biden had the balls to make that tough decision. The generals always want to stay, job security.
