The marines, my newest next door neighbor is an ex marine, he needs no introduction, but I think he was in Vietnam in 1967, he does not speak about it much, and I am not going to ask. Maybe you could, and I could sit on the sidelines and listen to you two tell stories.
I knew of many who went that same route, but service does have a way of changing the best plans. I speak of my cousin once in awhile, he was Air Force, Vietnam, 1967, buried in Long Island Cemetery, he came home to die, they treat you differently when you come home and die.
It was the sixties, alot more change than what we see here, this is mild, but it just seems to never get any better. After a long life this was what I was meaning when I stated my famous words of getting along.
What I do enjoy about these forums is being able to still get my view out there, I really don't care what anyone thinks, especially our resident conix.
But it does help alleviate the tension of trading stocks, and today listening to people bang on my roof as they install this new roof.
Glad you are still with us, we might not agree on many things, but I know I could drink a beer with you and listen to you talk.
