Somebody had better bookmark this latest post by Redoubtable Rob, the Hollyweird HiTimer.
Using what he may have remembered from Logic 101, he accurately points out Orphy the HR girl's assertion without proof that Brad's credentials should be erased. The proper label for the logic is asserting the consequent without proving the truthfulness of the antecedent.
The reason his post should be bookmarked is that his words should come back to blast him every time he praises RaySpoiltMyInvestment. He commits the same fallacy when he tries to give us the homily of patience because everything is well in Portland and that Cupria has a bright future. It is his opinion only and has no factual basis. His positive statement has no more validity than other nonsense posted on this board. The logical presentation format is: "if.....then." All IMHO.
