conix, It's hilarious seeing some of you American conservatives being so critical of Australia's efforts to save Australian lives from this latest coronavirus. Remember you and others as you telling me to mind my own business, now look at you. hahaha
It may help if you understood there has been, and is, an ongoing, very healthy debate about mitigation methods here. Most agree with measures taken. A relatively minor few don't. Most all of Friedersdorf's legitimate observations have been made by Australians against Australians here.
What is seriously wrongheaded is his equating Australian measures to that of communist countries and his questioning whether or not Australia should still be considered a free country. The mitigation methods have been taken to save lives. Not to restrict free speech or anything of that sort. The comparison to communist countries is totally invalid.
In conclusion i'll just say that while i defend your author's right to comment on Australia in any way he
wishes to, LOLOL, surely you see you are giving yourself a face-slap every time you post an article as that.
