The Presidency of the US has been sorely diminished by Trump, in ways we can't even anticipate.
My retrospective was really just that.
Looking forward, I fear for the US, democracy and free thought because of the wonton disregard that Trump unleashed on the world.
I never have felt this way about a US President, even if I disagreed with their politics. I knew the US could function despite Trump. Well, he rubbed that nub for all it's worth.
