Scooby for President.
I just caught up with the Scooby discussion.
Whatever happens, Scooby has done me and my brain a great service and I appreciate it. His enthusiasm is truly infectious (perhaps not the greatest word choice considering that the company is working on infectious diseases). We all know that predicting the future correctly is one of the most difficult things there is. Every day, experts get it wrong. Of course, there are no guarantees. While making money would be fun, perhaps part of the thrill is the risk - not really knowing whether this thing will come off. And there is not one investor who bought shares in this company - a "penny stock" after all - who does not realize that this whole endeavor is high risk. Nevertheless, I eat up Scooby's posts not only because of the raw emotion but also because his arguments have some plausibility - what he predicts could really happen. We all know of stories in biotech in the heady days before a few years ago where these things actually did happen. Regardless, Scooby has done a great service for my brain. I am already starting to think as if I am "rich" and my brain loves it. Keep going, Scoob. Holycow
