I agree with you on the no fraud comment and Lancester. Northtexas lives there and his contacts checked that out about Lancester, he is the real thing in my opinion. So, lets hope they can cut that deal and make the announcement in February.

Imperial Whazoo...was wondering what you were thinking...
as I haven't seen your post in awhile.

you brought up several pertinent thoughts in that post which I thought merited a reply from yours truly. Those being the deeper mineral rights underlying the East Texas leases, and the discussion of possible fraud.

While the consideration of deeper pay zones might best be understood and interpreted by petro-geologists specializing in the immediate area, considerations of fraud are as open to interpretation as are the allegations of intentional misrepresentation of classified information by the current administration in Washington,D.C..
In other words that discussion IMO is a waste of time.

That being said,I choose to believe my gut check which I made in my cold calls to the Tyler office leading me to the belief we're dealing with honest management there who are giving their best efforts in closing the deal.

IW, I think you are probably right in your post. I have never thought that BIGN was not legitimate but do sometimes worry about them being able to complete the LOI. If they fail it won't be from lack of trying or because of fraud.

The one thing that keeps me being a long is that I know from experience working on the fringes of the oil business that everything seems to take forever, lol. I think we are close to a successful completion of the LOI and it will be well worth the wait.
