I used to have a snoot or two but I bought aged stuff a good 12+ year Jameson or Macallan. Goes down smooth and does the trick, but like you other than that I never drank the hard stuff unless it was like a souped up MaiTai or Margarita while on vacation.
Beer was always my thing, but I just drank too much of it. :-(
LOLOL And i thought all those designs were from Mars people. Gin was my life long aversion after a big, bad night on a skiing trip. Pretty well off the hard stuff for years now with just the odd occasional small bottle to sip on a shopping trip. Usually some left for few days at home.
