CDC didn't have to admit anything, they withdrew a test they were administering all thru the major Covid surge that would only detect Covid NOT flu, again that's why flu was never detected.
Maybe "now" they can detect both, but the pile up of hundred of thousands was attributed to Covid since it could not distinguish from the flu.
Guess the CDC figured out that the "rigg" was up and had to implement a new test to "find" the flu distincly from the Covid.
