FRD...Can't say I understand the derivative hedging, but are they reporting any different than other steel companies? I'm guessing hedging plays a part in most commodity companies like steel, oil, gas, ect.

After FRD reported last quarter's earning I said steel stocks were not my thing and some of this is confusing to me. However, when KiK posted the pre-announced earnings, I couldn't help but see a good opportunity. And now next quarter's outlook will make it 3 huge Q's in a row!!!?!!?!

Anyway, we'll see what happens tomorrow. Been a good trade so far and based on tomorrow's action, I'll decide if I hold any or sell the rest of my shares.

FRD - these hedges are really hurting "comprehensive income" which they don't report in their press releases. The hedges locked in lower selling prices. A lot of traders don't even know about their hedging losses, so maybe the stock can rally anyway. It's up a bit after hours.
