Yeah, we have assholes as you here too. I've made that clear from the start. And some small business people forced to close are doing it very tough. Fact is protests as those flouting lock-down rules as they do can only do more damage. They don't do anyone any good.
Your article says strict lockdown in Sydney whereas one of the legit questions which have arisen in this latest lockdown is whether or not it should have been stricter. Most all shops are open.
Re the curfew there are many who question the value of that.
Respected people also ask for more detailed health information justifying the mitigation steps taken.
None of that excuses the abuse of public safety taken by these protests. Frustration doesn't justify it.
The issue doesn't justify it. The organization of them is as much political as anything.
