As I mentioned before: I am not against new ideas/leadership/hard work/ successful accomplishment/ etc. I was willing to listen to 13d and consider if either, in whole or in part, they might really bring something useful/insightful/stimulating to the table.
And instead all I read were meaningless platitudes. They were going to bring new life and knowledge, help the shareholders, really cared about the development of Leronlimab, etc.
As hollow and meaningless as ... "we're going to make it better!"
But no details/specifics/strategies just vague statements with no MEAT!
And then looking under the "hood" of the 13d engine compartment we find some faintly disturbing items:
*Mr. Rosenbaum appears to have some "blips" in his background (Rosenbaum vs Lepine and hotel rooms, company valuations, and not seeming as "solid" as a leader I would prefer).
*Some other members of the 13d appear to be disgruntled from their former relationships with the company (Dr. Pestell who sold what to CytoDyn for how much? You've got to be kidding), Mr. Caracciolo who appears to have been a key figure in facilitating the Pestell affair and left the company.
*The double doctors Errico and Staats who drove the value of their company into the ground. Do we need help like that?
*MELISSA YEAGER, who might actually know something about the MOA of Leronlimab along with its ins and outs >> or does she? It appears her degree is a JD not an MD or Ph. D. I thought JD was a Juris Doctor - the first degree of law, AND she has NO SKIN IN THE GAME. Is she along for the ride or what? Where's the MEAT?
*And what, on God's green earth, is the CCTV PROXY GROUP, LLC? Hmmmm??? What do they bring - in fact who is involved - I don't like vague...
*Incelldx folks >> Dr Patterson and Mr. Beatty (LATER)
And then it happened...
Like a watermelon left in the frig too long - things got sort of "stinky!"
While we don't hear anything except hollow platitudes from the official 13d communications, in spite of Misiu and others asking for answers to specific questions, new bits and pieces of information become available:
It appears there are plots within plots. Rosenbaum alledgedly informed/reminded? group, to the estatic elation of Dr. Patterson, that they'd be buying Incelldx for a truly exorbitant amount (and certain members would profit significantly while trashing the finances and share price of CytoDyn). And then the question of what becomes of Leronlimab? These folks don't appear to be here for the "long-haul" but a quick BUCK! I guess the obvious inference is they carry through and crash sale to their friends in BP.
And then the whole scandal comes out about Patterson, while initially I thought he was a "GOOD GUY," it appears he's a key schemer in this affair and some of the details of the past transactions/interactions and how they have helped to screw things up for CytoDyn began to come out.
And who knows what else we'll find. Of course this is all denied - bad dream? vicious rumor?
But.
Guess that's not what I was looking for. Closed the hood, walked away shaking my head...No indeed, definitely NOT what I want safeguarding MY investment.
Nader (I'm sure you all think I'm "nuts" about him), but he's a fighter, cares about people and his shareholders, plus he's relentless in working to get CytoDyn's Leronlimab approved and available. He's not perfect, more of a work in progress, but he's learning as he goes.
Right now I think things are moving powerfully in a positive drection, so I think I'll stick with Nader >> ESPECIALLY over what I now view as a cabal looking to "swipe the golden fleece (leronlimab) and leave us regular shareholders standing there looking stupid and wondering "what just happened?"
